World Kindness Day

Being kind to others is scientifically beneficial to your well-being — more so than helping to boost your own mood. Engaging in acts of kindness can decrease pain, stress, anxiety, depression and even your blood pressure. It can also help you age slower!1

In honor of World Kindness Day on 13 November, spread kindness to others. Even small gestures of kindness can have a huge impact.

Here are some ideas to help you spread the love:

  • Compliment your coworker for a job well done, or just because, by sending them a Kudos.
  • Treat someone to a cup of coffee, donate to a charity or bake cookies for your neighbor.
  • Practice self-kindness and spend 30 minutes doing something that makes you happy.
  • Install the Nobly app on your phone to capture acts of kindness around you and share them with your friends and family.
  • Find out how to use kindness to achieve personal success and happiness by registering for the AECOM training.
