Before the challenge starts on February 12, submit your guess for the total number of steps we will take as a company during this year’s Global Steps Challenge. The person with the closest guess will win. (Last year, we took nearly 622 million steps!)

Steps to register for MoveSpring
Step 1: Choose how to register.
- Everyone must register either online or on the MoveSpring mobile app. If you previously used the MoveSpring mobile app, be sure to click “Sign Up.” Your old login information will not work.
- Download the MoveSpring app from the Apple App Store (for iPhone users) or Google Play Store (for Android users) to your smartphone.
- The MoveSpring mobile app offers enhanced features and provides the best experience during the challenge.
Step 2: Sign up.
- Select Sign up, enter the code “AECOM” and select Sign up again.
- Confirm your organization by selecting Confirm.
- Provide the information requested, including your name, country and business line, and select Continue.
- Create your account by providing your email and creating a username. Check the box to agree to MoveSpring Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and select Continue.
- You will be asked to verify your email. Please check the email you used to sign up and enter the verification code on the MoveSpring platform. Click Continue.
Step 3: Set up your profile.
- Create a nickname/username and select Continue.
- View the tutorial and select Take me to my dashboard.
- You can sync your fitness device and join the challenge from your dashboard.

Syncing your fitness device will help you track your activity automatically.

MoveSpring offers cross device compatibility making it the perfect place for everyone to play! Most major fitness trackers are supported, including:

*Garmin users: MoveSpring can usually connect with the Garmin Forerunner and Fenix devices. However, MoveSpring can only pull from devices that report steps. If your device doesn’t report steps, it will not sync with MoveSpring.
Set New Fitness Goals
To improve your step count throughout the Challenge, you can change your fitness goals on your device. Here’s how to adjust your goals on the top 3 devices used by AECOM employees.
Apple Watch
- Open the Activity app on your Apple Watch.
- Swipe up to view your Move progress or continue swiping to view your Exercise and Stand progress.
- Tap the minus/plus button in the bottom right to change the selected activity goal.
- Tap to increase or decrease the number for your daily goal, then tap Set.
Fitbit
- From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon.
- Scroll to the Goals section.
- Tap the goal you want to view or adjust.
- Tap the individual element of the goal and follow the onscreen instructions to adjust it.
Note that you can also set and manage your goals using the fitbit.com dashboard, but personalized guidance is only available in the Fitbit apps.
Google Fit
- On your phone, open the Google Fit app.
- At the bottom, tap Profile.
- Enter your desired Steps goals.
Boost Your Steps Days
On three special days during the challenge, give your physical activity an extra boost and strive for 10,000 steps. Share what motivates you by posting your pictures in the Challenge Chat on the MoveSpring mobile app or on social media with #MyMomentToBeWell.

Set a personal goal to increase your physical activity at least one additional day each week…and make it one that you can keep doing even after the challenge ends.

Set a goal with your family, friends or colleagues to engage in physical activity together at least once per week going forward.

Step Up for the Planet
Set an ongoing goal to reduce your carbon footprint by using alternative transportation, such as walking, cycling or carpooling.
Get recognized
Improve your step count
Achieve the most improvement in your step count throughout the challenge (measured by comparing average steps from Week 1 to average steps in Week 6). Seven winners (one from each region) will receive global recognition, a certificate and a digital badge in their personal dashboard on WellBeingAtAECOM.com.
Photo of the week
Post photos to share what motivates you or where you like to be active in the Challenge Chat in the MoveSpring App. The photo with the most comments and likes each week will be highlighted on the MoveSpring platform and on WellBeingAtAECOM.com. The photo with the most reactions throughout the challenge will be named the overall winner.
Represent your country
The countries with the highest percentage of employee engagement will receive the Global Well-Being Steps Challenge trophy. There will be one large country winner and one mid-size country winner.
Super engaged steppers
The top 10 participants who are most engaged in the challenge through logging steps, commenting in the Challenge Chat, liking content posts and supporting one another will receive global recognition, a certificate and a digital badge in their personal dashboard on WellBeingAtAECOM.com.
Guess the steps
Before the challenge starts on February 12, submit your guess for the total number of companywide steps that will be taken during the challenge. The person who guesses the closest number of steps (without going over) will receive global recognition, a certificate and a digital badge in their personal dashboard on WellBeingAtAECOM.com.
Companywide incentive
AECOM will donate to Water for People and Engineers Without Borders if participants collectively reach 132 million steps during the challenge.
